iPads in Education

Innovating education with technology.

I thought some teachers here might be interested in having a look at the research in progress on the second iPad Pilot at Trinity College, Melbourne. The blog entry links to Academia.edu where I have posted a PDF of the Table of Contents from the Literature Review, an introduction to the research framework and research questions, and some of the works cited in the Literature Review. You may not be able to download the file unless you are a member of Academia.edu but you can choose the Quick View option to see the document. You can join Academia.edu with your Facebook account, however.

Look here at the Trinity iPad Pilot Blog for some more detailed information on our research plans.

We are aiming to produce a few academic papers from our research in 2012 - 2013: one on student experience, one on staff development, and a third one on a case study of a student group using digital tools from their iPads to create mini-lessons, or presentations which showcase deep learning and understanding of concepts.
