Exploring the use of iPads and mobile devices in education.
A new school year has started for me and I wanted to share an idea I had to teach students the basics of using iPads. On the third day of class I introduced iPads to my students. I went through many of the accessibility features that could help students with special needs. When the students finished with the "training session" I gave them a brief true/false assesment.

I have taught7th grade history for five years. One of my "bread and butter" strategies is called the interactive note taking and reading strategy. On my blog I have posted a video clip of exactly how this works. I would love to know if anyone knows of an app that will help my classroom become paperless. I know this is a lofty goal, but I think that it is worth a shot.
