Have you ever had a divine, glorious, light-coming- down- from -the- heavens moment? One that says, “YES! They finally get it!” A recent student conversation was music to my ears:

Exploring the use of iPads and mobile devices in education.
How to AirPrint for the Entire School… Cheap.
This is copied from my new blog.
I have just started my blogging of my school and how I manage the iPads but I plan to try and cover it all. So, check there if you don't see more from me here.

Just the Facts
Decisions should be based on facts, objectively considered. -Marvin Bower
I posted here recently my students’ reading scores. Obviously, we are excited about them. Student achievement and closing the achievement gap is our top priority. School-wide, our MAP (Measurement of Academic Progress) scores are up.

A Bet's a Bet
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in new eyes.” -Marcel Proust

Making the device your own
Our school has recently made the leap to provide not only iPads as an available technology to classes, like the laptop carts and desktops in labs, we have also committed to giving out iPads to students as they arrive in the 9th grade year.....
As I am digging for content and apps that fully utilize the adoption of the new technology, I can't help but think of the 'geeks' that will blaze new trails in the use of the device. Why the geeks? Geeks are celebrated for not only learning…

iPad Backpack
I work with a lot of school leaders who are really getting on board with iPads. Many of them like the notion of not having to lug around a full laptop to do things like attend meetings, observe teachers via 'walkthroughs,' have access to quick student data while visiting classrooms and so on. I've put together a wiki at http://ipadbackpack.wikispaces.com. The goal of the wiki page is to have a place for school leaders,…
