Exploring the use of iPads and mobile devices in education.

The one iPad classroom.

I am helping a group of teachers who are just starting out with one iPad with their classrooms I would appreciate any advice / tips / resources to get them started. They have all been using iPads for only a couple of months. Looking forward to some responses / suggestions.

If you can purchase Apple TV black boxes ($99) with an HDMI cable connected to a classroom Flat Screen television or DVD player then the teachers and students can show the whole class that whatever happens on the iPad will show up on the flat screen television for everyone to see and discuss. The Apple TV boxes are small enough (palm size) to carry from classroom to classroom. If teachers let me know what grade levels they are teaching and what their current interests are, then I can recommend some free or inexpensive Apps (K-college) when they email me at teachersask@yahoo.com or else sign up at my free site for the educational uses of the iPad
