In the UK we support lots of local authorities and schools in the early stages of iPad use by gifting free copies of our Apps to get them started. We would love to do the same in the USA but we are only allowed to gift to the UK store with our itunes account. We have used most of our promo codes sadly.
Can anyone suggest how we can get those early use USA (and other) schools our Apps free of charge? We are building users through the App store but free use in the early stages is much nicer for everyone. Our Apps are at www.NumeracyApps.co.uk
Thanks, David

Students really love this app. It's free to upload their stories to their website, email a link to the story, but costs $9.95 to have a book printed (10 pages or less). The book is a board book...quite impressive. My students in 5th grade are writing stories in Hebrew...... they are learning new vocab, becoming more fluent and having fun at the same time.

Although not an app per se, todaysmeet http://todaysmeet.com/ is seamless and a pleasure to use. Why not tweet your meeting. Well worth a look. This service is provided under a Creative Commons Sharealike license.
