Exploring the use of iPads and mobile devices in education.
I am wanting to make a questionnaire/survey document that the students complete and the results can then be syncd back to one main machine and results analysed.....does anyone know of a good app or a way of doing this? (The simpler the better)
I would also like to have a document with pages that I have created that they write answers on the screen and the sheets form an ongoing booklet that can be checked periodically.....again, any help would be appreciated.

As for the document, you could create and distribute a pdf document and then have students use an app like GoodReader or iAnnotate to add text over the top of it.

This solution by Caretotell may fit your need. It's not a "document" solution like Google Forms, but more of a pure survey tool that will sync automatically and you can we the results in real-time on the web, or download the raw survey data for further studies.
It has a kiosk mode, that secures the iPad when you hand it over to your students.
