iPads in Education

Exploring the use of iPads and mobile devices in education.

I recently was asked to bring my iPad to one of the local schools to work with a principal on how to use an iPad in his daily duties.

Here are some resources that I found on recommended apps and other info.: The Principal iPad User

Does anyone have any other resources or stories related to principals or other administrators using iPads?

Thanks!

Great Chris,

Thanks. I am very interested in what administrators are learning to do with the iPads and what people who are training them are learning. I am also interested in the modeling impact of administrators using iPads and what it will encourage others to do...
Our administrators use iPads to do teacher observations. Our county office has created an app for this
Do you know what the app is called? Thanks Bill!

I just looked on your site and it looks like an amazing educational tool.  I tried to search for it at the App store, but could not find it.  Is there another way to try it at our school?

It is my understanding that the software runs off a server so there is no download from the app store. Go to this web site and email the c3 team your request;

I'am sure that they can set you up with some kind of trial.

In Arkansas we use the Teachscape App. We do CWT's on the app and it goes straight to the web site when we submit. We can look at areas specific to a core area or across the board. We can see where we need to make improvement. My AP's and I have doubled the number of CWT's we have done. We love it!
