iPads in Education

Exploring the use of iPads and mobile devices in education.

I need to go to a conference to research the uses of iPads in the elementary classroom. Haven't been to either conference before. Which one would I most benefit from attending? What do experienced attendees suggest?

ISTE is definitely the bigger conference with a wider selection of choices.

I agree with Sam that ISTE is much bigger with lots of choices. I went to an excellent iPad workshop (extra $$) there last year and then to numerous other presentations on iPads that were helpful.

However this year, I'm not able to attend ISTE and I happen to be attending CUE for the first time in Palm Springs in the middle of March. I understand that it is a much smaller event, but I expect it will be worthwhile. Sometimes ISTE feels overwhelming. You have to plan very carefully before you go to it.
