Exploring the use of iPads and mobile devices in education.
You have an important video to watch or present and you're unsure about the reliability of the broadband connection. Now you can download the video directly to your iOS device and not have to worry. Thanks to TiPb.com for this helpful suggestion!
Start by downloading TagDisk from the App Store . To test the app, the free “Lite” version will do fine but it is restricted to four video downloads, if you find this app useful, you may want to upgrade to the full version.

That is all you need to do. I even tested this with Vimeo as well as YouTube and again it works perfectly.

Permalink Reply by Jeanette Stickel on October 8, 2011 at 10:33am Thank you for this information!!! I have been creating stories for my speech kids to give them practice with their target sounds. I turned them into movies with imovie and now I can download them onto my ipad - thanks to you. Here is a link to one of the stories and anyone is welcome to download it for their young students:

Permalink Reply by Linda Hefferin on November 28, 2011 at 5:26pm Can you expand? TagDisk HD seems expensive. Does this app allow you to "show" YouTube videos from within a Keynote presentation? Thanks for any advice on how to do this.
