Exploring the use of iPads and mobile devices in education.
We have a small school and are purchasing 40 iPads (about 1 iPad for every 2.5 students). At least to start, iPads will only leave the building under the supervision of teachers on field trips. We have purchased a combination of Otterbox and Griffin AirStrap cases to protect the devices as well as screen protectors.
For our first set of iPads we bought Apple Care. But since it doesn't cover accidental damage, we have considered getting Square Trade coverage instead. Buying both is probably too expensive for us.
We were wondering what other schools have done.
